HAYWARD, Calif – The Cal State East Bay women's soccer team suffered a tough 1-0 setback to California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) opponent Cal State San Marcos Cougars on Friday night at Pioneer Stadium.
The CSUEB (3-9-3, 2-7-0 CCAA) women have now lost two straight home matches.
The teams played an evenly-matched physical match troughout the entire game. The Cougar women held a slight advantage in shots 5-3. The Pioneer women failed to take a shot on goal throughout the match for the second time this season.

Jasmine Corbett made five saves on the night, holding San Marcos scoreless in the first 75 minutes of game action.
Cal State San Marcos scored on a free kick into the top right corner of the box by Meghan Randig in the 76th minute of game play.
The Pioneer women will return to action for their final home game this Sunday, October 23 to face off against the UC San Diego. It will be Senior Day for East Bay as the team will honor it's seven seniors before the game. The Match will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Pioneer Stadium.
