HAYWARD, Calif – The Cal State East Bay women's soccer team will complete its California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) home schedule for the 2016 season. CSUEB will host Cal State San Marcos on Friday night and UC San Diego on Sunday afternoon which will be Senior Day.
 
The Pioneers women have seven seniors: Jasmine Corbett, Sialei Manuleleua, Megan Ravenscroft, Tia Sidtikun, Rachel Robbert, Andrea Hernandez and Savannah George.
 
WEEK IN REVIEW
The Pioneer women fell to Chico State 2-0 as the teams battled in despicable weather conditions on Sunday, October 16.
 
Senior Tia Sidtikun had two shots to lead the Pioneers. Megan Ravenscroft, Carsyn Hoogendorn and Savannah George all finished with one shot each.
 
PIONEER POINTS
Cal State East Bay has scored 11 goals on nine assists while allowing 21 goals through 15 games this season. The Pioneer women have recorded 51 saves so far this year.
 
Senior Megan Ravenscroft is currently ranked eighth in the CCAA with a team-leading five goals and tenth with 36 shots taken.
 
Savannah Schultz, Nicole Stamper and Andrea Hernandez are all tied for the team lead with two assists each.
 
Senior goalkeeper Jasmine Corbett has 46 saves through 14 game played this year.
 
 
SCOUTING CAL STATE SAN MARCOS
The Cougars are on a current two game win streak with victories over Cal State Dominguez Hills (1-0) and Cal State L.A. (2-1 OT). Cal State San Marcos are a very stout defensive team, having not allowed more than two goals scored in a match this season. Yeya Millan leads the Cougars with three goals on the year. Elizabeth Maass is tenth is the CCAA with two game winning games goals this season. Goalkeeper Erica Dory is fifth in the conference with 43 saves.
 
SCOUTING UC SAN DIEGO
The Tritons are undefeated in CCAA action and are currently ranked ninth in the NSCAA NCAA Division II National Poll. UC Diego leads the conference with 39 goals on 38 assists, while only allowing six goals on the year. Katie O'Laughlin (12), Keira Bocchino (7) and Mary Reilly (6) are all ranked in the top 10 in the CCAA goals scored this season. Reilly (9) and Jordyn McNutt (8) are first and second in the conference in assists.
