HAYWARD, Calif- The Cal State East Bay Pioneer women's soccer team will enter their last home stand of the 2016 season. CSUEB will host the visiting Chico State Wildcats this Sunday, October 16 at Pioneer Stadium.

The Pioneer women completed their their game road trip with a 1-2 record, including a bit 2-1 win over Cal Poly Pomona.

Tia Sidtikun led CSUEB with one goal scored on six shots on the weekend. Sophomore

Cheyanne Foster compiled two saves for the Pioneer women.

Cal State East Bay have scored 11 goals on nine assists, while allowing 19 goals through 14 games this season.

Megan Ravenscroft is seventh in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) with five goals scored on the year and eighth in the conference with 35 shots taken.

SCOUTING CHICO STATE
The Wildcat women are on a current two game CCAA win streak, which were their first two conference wins of the season. Chico State is a very aggressive offensive team that has scored 18 goals through ten matches, while allowing 15 goals from opponents. Pooja Patel and Rene Wieler are eighth and ninth in the conference in three assists apiece. Caitlyn Duval lead the Wildcat women with 28 saves through 10 games. Lidsey Dias and Korie Bozart are tied for the team lead with three goals apiece.
