Box Score: UCSD 15, CSUEB 13 - F/OTHAYWARD, Calif. – Cal State East Bay needed one final defensive stop to secure the program's first ever victory against UC San Diego. However the Tritons converted a 6-on-5 in the final seconds of regulation and eventually handed the Pioneers a 15-13 overtime loss on Easter Sunday at Pioneer Pool.
"That was a great game. I am so proud of the way we played," praised East Bay Head Coach
Lisa Cooper. "Unfortunately we didn't come away with the win, but we know we are right there with (them)."

Miller immediately atoned for her mistake as Dettloff's lead pass to a countering

Out of the timeout Lauren Finwall drew one of her five earned exclusions setting up a power play scoring opportunity to tie the game. A half tank heave from Hess was stopped by Miller at the buzzer as the team's prepared for overtime.
