The Pioneers most recently picked up an 8-6 win over Sonoma State to close out the Triton Invitational and end a 6-game slide. East Bay goalkeeper

Olivia Mackell have combined to earn 38 of the team's 67 earned ejections through eight games. Mackell has drawn at least one kickout in seven of eight games on the year with a season-high six against Sonoma State.
Casey Rushforth opened the season with five goals over the first five games, and added her sixth in this past Sunday's win over the Seawolves. Teammate
Alyssa Hess is second on the team with eight goals after scoring six over the first three games of the season.
Cal State East Bay defeated Cal Lutheran three times during the 2008 campaign including a pair of wins in the Collegiate III Championships. The Pioneers earned a 7-6 triple overtime victory to earn the title, complete the season sweep, and begin its domination of the all-time series.
CSUEB is 11-4 against CLU dating back to the 2004 season. Both head coaches
Lisa Cooper and Craig Rond have been at the helm of their respective programs for all 13 matches and are familiar with the other.
Cal Lutheran (0-0) will open it season on Friday, Feb. 13, at Cal State Monterey Bay (2-7) before heading to Hayward.
