ORANGE, Calif. – Cal State East Bay will head down to Southern California to play five games over two days starting on Saturday, March 22. The Pioneers will play at the Chapman Tournament in the city of Orange on Saturday, and in a pair of games on the campus of Cal State San Bernardino on Sunday, March 23.
East Bay (9-9) enters this weekend on a season-best five-game winning streak. The offense has scored at least 15 goals in each of the past three games while the defense is holding the opposition on average to six goals per game during that stretch.

On Sunday, East Bay will face host Cal State San Bernardino (2-13, 0-5 WWPA) in a Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) contest, and finish its weekend against Division III squad La Verne (1-15).
This weekend will be the third trip to Southern California after Cal State East Bay competed at the Triton Invitational at UC San Diego (Feb. 8-9) and the Cal Lutheran Invitational (March 1-2). The Pioneers will be making a fourth trip overall and second to the UCSD campus to compete in the WWPA Championships (April 25-27).
