HAYWARD, Calif. – Cal State East Bay men's soccer will play its final home game and close out the 2013 campaign this weekend. It will be the final collegiate games in the careers of Paul Dewhurst, Bryce Bookhamer and Jesus Leon.

Cal State East Bay will host Sonoma State for the second time this year on Friday, Nov. 1, and hit the road to take on Cal State Stanislaus on Sunday, Nov. 3. The Pioneers will look to play postseason spoiler by avenging earlier shutout losses this season to the Seawolves and Warriors.

Cal State East Bay vs. Sonoma State – (Friday, Nov. 1)
Due to a heavy downpour in the hours leading up to the Sept. 22 matchup in Sonoma, that contest was moved to Hayward. The Seawolves went on to a 1-0 double overtime win courtesy of the game-winner from Raspreet Sandhu.

Sonoma State (8-4-4, 7-4-3 CCAA) currently leads the California Collegiate Athletic Association North Division standings with 24 points. The Seawolves are one point in front of Cal State Monterey Bay and the two squads are battling for the final CCAA Tournament spot as three teams from the South Division have already qualified.

Cal State East Bay at Cal State Stanislaus – (Sunday, Nov. 3)
These two squads will have faced off twice within a nine-day stretch upon Sunday's opening whistle. The Warriors scored two second half goals in their win over the Pioneers back on Friday, Oct. 25.

The Warriors current slim CCAA playoff hopes may be nonexistent by the time Sunday rolls around. CSUS needs to win on Friday, combined with an East Bay win over Sonoma State and no better than a tie for Cal State Monterey Bay against San Francisco State for Sunday to play a factor.
