Wynne was the Pioneers' top scorer with 11 points. Freedman followed with nine points and led the Pioneers on the board with six rebounds.
Chico State had three players score in double figures. Roderick Hawkins led the way with 19 points while Flores and Sean Park scored 16 and 13 respectively.
Despite the defeat, Biggs is encouraged with his teams' play.
“We can build on some things following the Chico State game,” Biggs said. “I hope we can carry this momentum into our two upcoming home games against Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State LA.”
