Pioneer Softball Field
Pioneer Softball Field has been the home of Cal State East Bay softball since the program began in 1968. In 2026, it will be host to the CCAA Softball Tournament.
LOCATION |Â Pioneer Field is located on the west edge of Cal State East Bay's Hayward campus overlooking the San Francisco Bay. The field is next to Lot N behind the baseball field.
SEATING |Â There are sets of stadium bleachers next to each dugout behind the backstop fence.Â
TICKETS |Â All Pioneer softball games are free of charge. Tickets are not sold at the field.Â
PARKING |Â Parking on campus requires a daily permit, which may be purchased at an automated kiosk. Parking permits are NOT required on Saturday, Sunday, or after 5 p.m. on Friday. Lot N is available during games, but when baseball is going on, it is recommended that you don't park in the four rows closest to the baseball field due to foul balls. Parking is also available across the street in Lot P.Â
RESTROOMSÂ | Men's and women's restrooms are located next to Lot N.
Beginning September 1, 2017, Cal State East Bay will be a completely smoke and tobacco-free campus. Tobacco products, such as cigarettes, hookah, chewing tobacco, smokeless tobacco, vape pens and e-cigarettes, will not be permitted in or outside any buildings or in parking areas.
