Pioneer Stadium
Opened in 1964, Pioneer Stadium is the home of Cal State East Bay's soccer, football and track and field programs. In 2024, the facility was selected by CCAA officials as the host site of the 2024 Men's Soccer Tournament.
Pioneer Stadium also served as the home field for FC Gold Pride (Women's Professional Soccer) and the Oakland Roots (USL).
LOCATION | Pioneer Stadium is located on the west side of Cal State East Bay's Hayward campus, overlooking the San Francisco Bay. The field sits along the West Loop.
SEATING | Bleachers line the east side of the stadium, with seating available for up to 5,000 spectators.
PARKING | Parking on campus requires a daily permit, which fans can purchase at an automated kiosk. Parking permits are NOT required on Saturday, Sunday, or after 5 p.m. on Friday. During soccer games, parking is available in lots N, P, and A and along West Loop.
RESTROOMS | Men's and women's restrooms are located at the top of the stadium behind the bleachers. Restrooms are also available in Lot N next to the baseball field.
CAMPUS SMOKE-FREE POLICY | Cal State East Bay is a completely smoke- and tobacco-free campus. Products such as cigarettes, hookahs, chewing tobacco, smokeless tobacco, vape pens and e-cigarettes, are not permitted in or outside any buildings or parking areas.
**ONLY SERVICE ANIMALS ARE PERMITTED AND MUST REMAIN ON A LEASH. ALL OTHER PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED.**
