Junior transfer Nick Grieves made a big impression in his first game at Pioneer Gym last Tuesday. The Aptos native scored a season high 17 points to lead East Bay to an 83-72 win over William Jessup in the team's home opener. Grieves was 5-for-10 from three-point range and 2-for-2 from the free throw line, and he also had a team-high four steals. It was the second time this season scoring in double figures for Grieves, who's currently fourth on the team averaging 10.2 points per game. Heading into CCAA play this weekend, he ranks third in the conference in three-pointers made (13) and three-point percentage (.565)
