Mark Samuels combined to score 19 points and lead the Pioneers in rebounding with 17 boards in two losses last week.

The Berkeley native scored 13 points in a close, nine-point loss to Cal Poly Pomona, going 6-for-14 from the floor and pulling down eight rebounds. Added six points and led the team in rebounding for the third-straight game with nine boards.

The sophomore guard is now averaging 12.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, both of which lead the team.
