Junior midfielder Jesus Magana scored seven of his eight points for the season this past weekend as the Pioneer men swept a pair of games aginst local rivals Cal State Monterey Bay and San Francisco State. He had two assists on the first two goals of the game in Friday's 3-1 win over the Otters. Magana then scored the only goal of Sunday's "Battle of the Bay" victory over SFSU. With six points this weekend, the Pioneers (2-6, 2-4 CCAA) are now right in the thick of the CCAA North Division race, trailing first-place Sonoma State by just three points.
