Charlie Sharrer led the 22nd-ranked Pioneers in an offensive explosion over the weekend and was named CCAA Player of the Week for Mar. 18-24. The senior batted .692 with a ridiculous 1.385 slugging in a three-game sweep of Holy Names. He had a pair of doubles in Friday's 16-2 road win, then went 7-for-8 the following day in the doubleheader. Sharrer had a career game in the series finale. He blasted two home runs, moving him into a tie for 10th place on the all-time Pioneer rankings with 15 career dingers. He was 4-for-5 in the game with a doulbe and five RBI, finishing witrh 18 total bases for the weekend.
