Carretero continued her outstanding Fall season by leading the Pioneer women to victory at the Santa Clara Bronco Open on Saturday, topping a 23-team field that included five Division I schools and six CCAA rivals. She was the overall runner-up in the race and the top finisher attached to a team. The senior crossed the finish line in 21:33.6, just two seconds behind her school record time from earlier this season. This marks her second CSUEB weekly award of the Fall.
