Coronel had a memorable weekend during the men's soccer team's trip to Southern California. The senior made a career-high nine saves in a tough 1-0 loss at Cal State San Marcos on Friday. Then on Sunday, he helped lead the Pioneers to an impressive result, earning a point with a 0-0 draw against UC San Diego, the No. 14 ranked team in the nation. Coronel notched five more saves in posting his shutout of the season.
