Greer was outstanding in the circle for the Cal State East Bay softball team, helping the Pioneers open the season with a doubleheader sweep of Dominican on Saturday. She tossed a six-hit shutout in the opener, holding the Penguins off the scoreboard until CSUEB won the game with a run to break a scoreless tie in the bottom of the seventh inning.

The right-hander came in to close out the second game later that afternoon. She entered with two runners on base in the seventh and quickly escaped the jam to preserve the 10-9 victory. For the day, Greer earned a win and a save while allowing just six hits in 7.2 scoreless innings.
