Greene continued her stellar sophomore campaign, leading the Pioneers to a pair of victories this past week over Sonoma State and Stanislaus State. The sophomore recorded her CCAA-leading 11th and 12th double-doubles of the year, the second-highest total in the nation. She scored 13 points on 6-for-8 shooting and grabbed 14 rebounds in a 58-51 win over the Seawolves on Tuesday. She then chipped in 10 points, pulled in 14 more boards, and assisted on Elayshia Woolridge's game-winning buzzer beater in a 73-71 victory Saturday over the Warriors.Â
Greene was named CCAAÂ Player of the Week on Tuesday after averaging 11.5 points and 14.0 rebounds for the week. She currently stands as the conference's top rebounder at 12.2 boards per game, good for fourth nationally. After shooting 65 percent for the week, she raised her season field goal percentage to .549, which ranks second in the CCAA.
