Anderson had two of his best games of the season this week in leading the Cal State East Bay men to a perfect 2-0 performance. The Pioneers turned in two outstanding defensive efforts in defeating Sonoma State and Stanislaus State at home this week. Anderson tallied 14 points and seven assists on Tuesday against the Seawolves, going 8-for-10 from the free throw line to help the Pioneers seal the win in the final minutes.
On Saturday, Anderson flirted with a triple-double and notched season highs with 16 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. He went 5-for-9 from the field, highlighted by a season-best 4-for-7 from three-point range. Midway through the season, the junior ranks second in the CCAA in assists per game (4.8) and assist-turnover ratio (2.5-to-1).
