Several members of the CSUEB swim team had impressive weekends as the Pioneers defeated Biola, College of Idaho, and Mills College in dual meets on Friday, then ran away with first place at the annual Bay Area Invitational the following day. McClure led the way, notching victories in all seven races she entered. On Friday, she led off the first-place 400 Free Relay team, and won individually in the 200 Backstroke and 200 IM, both events in which she holds the school record. On Saturday, she swam the first legs of the 400 Medley Relay and 800 Freestyle Relay, both of which took first place. A First Team All-American and reigning PCSC Co-Swimmer of the Year, McClure was also victorious in the 100 Breaststroke and 500 Freestyle to finish as CSUEB's highest individual scorer at the meet.
