Suzy Ni Xu had an outstanding final week of the season, leading the Pioneers to a 2-1 record at home. Cal State Monterey Bay had no answer for the junior opposite side hitter on Tuesday, as she racked up 28 kills and hit .522 en route to a four-set victory. Coach Jim Spagle called it "the most dominating match a Pioneer has played in my 17 years at East Bay." On Friday, she led the team with 14 kills and added three blocks as the Pioneers defeated UC San Diego in four sets. For the week, Xu was tops on the Pioneers with a .317 hitting percetnage and 4.17 kills per set. She finished as the team leader in kills, points, and hitting percentage for the 2012 season.
