Lindsey Ray turned in a tremendously clutch performance last Friday at Cal State Monterey Bay in the volleyball team's only match of the week. After a tight, back-and-fourth contest in front of a record-setting crowd in Seaside, the Otters jumped out to a lead over the Pioneers in the deciding fifth set. East Bay appeared on the brink of defeat trailing 13-9, but proceeded to rattle off a remarkable 6-0 scoring run to win the set 15-13 and come out on top of an instant classic CCAA match. 

Ray tallied seven of her team-high 17 kills in that fifth frame. She scored four of the team's final five points during that game-winning 6-0 run, including the clinching kill. Ray also totaled 15 digs in the victory to post her sixth double-double of the season.
