Women's soccer forward Rachel Robbert has been named Cal State East Bay's Female Athlete of the Week, sponsored by Doubletree Hilton Pleasanton at the Club, for Sept. 14-20.

Robbert scored three goals last week in leading the Pioneers to a pair of shutout victories. She's currently tied for the team lead in goals and points despite missing the first four games with an injury.

On Tuesday, she scored two goals in a span of five minutes to seal a 3-0 win over Acadmey of Art. The victory was the 100th of head coach Amy Gerace's career. On Friday, Robbert scored with just one second remaining before halftime against conference rival Cal State Monterey Bay, taking a pass from Miranda Gonzalez and beating the charging keeper. Her goal constituted all the scoring in a huge 1-0 win for the Pioneers.
