Senior pitcher Emily Perlich tossed back-to-back complete games using 264 pitches over 17 innings against UC San Diego this past weekend. In her final game at Pioneer Field on "Senior Day" she held the Tritons to just two runs on six hits in a 5-2 game one win on Saturday.

In game two of Friday's doubleheader she threw 156 pitches and held the UCSD offense to just two runs (one earned) over 10 innings. Perlich struck out three batters and now has 168 for her career, ranking fifth best in program history.

Perlich had thrown just 29 innings on the year heading into the weekend. She covered 17 innings over Friday and Saturday and picked up her third win of the year on Saturday. Perlich lowered her season ERA by more than a full run to 3.65 after allowing only three earned runs in two games.
