Lowe’s PCSC Championships included two podium finishes, two NCAA Provisional qualifying cuts, and one East Bay school record. The sophomore’s highlight performance came with a runner-up finish in the 100-yard backstroke. Her time of 56.47 seconds is national “B” cut time.
Lowe became the first Pioneer to finish the 200-yard backstroke in under 2 minutes, 3 seconds. Her mark of 2:02.49 was good enough for third overall, another national “B” cut time, and a school record. She also scored points with an 11th place finish in the 1,000-yard freestyle.
