Robinea McClinton placed fourth overall out of college runners and led the Pioneer women's cross country team to top honors at the Mills Invitational on September 15. The junior from Compton completed the 6k course in 25:25.

The 10-team field was the largest in Mills Invitational history. The Pioneers defeated CCAA opponents Sonoma State and Cal State Monterey Bay in the process of claiming the team title with a total of 55 points.
