Men's basketball player Jack Pasquini is the CSUEB Male Athlete of the Week after recording his fourth double-digit rebound performance of the season in a 93-81 loss at Cal State Monterey Bay on Saturday. The junior from Scotts Valley pulled in 11 boards against the Otters. Pasquini has at least six rebounds in every game this season, and he leads all players in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) averaging 8.8 rebounds per game. Pasquini is also averaging 8.0 points per game after scoring eight at CSUMB, including a pair of three-pointers to help East Bay grab an early lead. Though nine games, Pasquni leads the Pioneers in minutes (255) and ranks fourth in total points scored (72).
