Senior men's basketball player Ryan Okwudibonye is Cal State East Bay's Male Athlete of the Week for Nov. 17-23 after a tremendous performance during Saturday's game at Menlo College. A graduate student from Sacramento State, Okwudibonye led all players with 22 points in a 75-74 overtime loss to the Oaks in Atherton. It was a career high for the Huntington Beach native in just his third regular season game as a Pioneer. He was an efficient 9-for-13 from the field in 35 minutes to go along with nine rebounds. Okwudibonye is now the team's leading scorer through three games with 41 points (13.7 ppg), and he's shooting 66.7 percent.
