Imani Heath has been named CSUEB Female Co-Athlete of the Week after placing first among attached collegiate runners in the Women's 6k Open run at the 2014 Bronco Invitational, hosted by Santa Clara University at Baylands Regional Park on Saturday. Heath led the Pioneer women to fourth place out of 17 teams and set a career-best 6k time. She finished the course in 22:29.3, more than 20 seconds in front of the second place runner. The senior has placed either first or second in all four of Cal State East Bay's meets so far this fall heading into the CCAA Championships on Nov. 8.
