Sophomore Adam Stone is CSUEB's Male Athlete of the Week after claiming the individual championship at the 2014 InterWest Wildcat Classic, hosted by Chico State. He fired a 66 (-6) in the final round to finish the week at 206 (-10) and earn his first career tournament victory. 

Stone's third-round 66 was the lowest 18-hole score by any player in the tournament and the lowest round of his collegiate career. He entered the final round trailing Chico State's Alistair Docherty by one stroke and vaulted himself to victory by shooting four strokes lower on Tuesday than any player on the course. 

Stone led the tournament field by a wide margin with 18 total birdies. The left-hander was four under par on par-four holes and six under par on par-fives. He was one of just two golfers to shoot under par all three rounds.
