Senior Javier Martin finished the week with two goals and an assist as Cal State East Bay finished 2-1-0 in three matches. Martin scored twice, including a penalty kick goal, in a 4-0 win over Cal Maritime (Sept. 18). He netted multiple goals in a single game for the fourth time in his career, doing so once in each of his four seasons with the Pioneers. Martin assisted on the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Chaminade (Sept. 20). Heading into league play, Martin leads the team with 19 shots taken and is tied for the team high having scored twice thus far.
