Senior forward Alyssa Rodriguez has been named Cal State East Bay Female Athlete of the Week for Sept. 8-14. Rodriguez played a major part in both of her team's goals this past weekend as the women's soccer team finish 1-0-1 during its Idaho road trip. She assisted on the game-winning goal against Central Washington (Sept. 11) hustling to save a loose ball from crossing the end line near the opposition's goal. In her first career start, she scored the equalizer in the ninth minute during a 1-1 tie versus Northwest Nazarene (Sept. 13).
