Sophomore guard Donavon Jackson led the Pioneers to their second CCAA victory of the season last week. Playing nearly every minute for Cal State East Bay, Jackson averaged 12 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while shooting 54.5 percent from the field in two games.
In East Bay's 72-66 win over Chico State, Jackson led the team with a 19-point, 11-rebound double-double, going 7-for-12 from the field and adding a pair of assists. In Saturday's loss to Cal State Stanislaus, Jackson reached double figures in scoring for the third straight game, posting 15 points and six rebounds, while shooting 50 percent from the field.
