Cal State East Bay junior Nick Grieves scored a career-high 26 points and set a single-game school record by knocking down eight 3-pointers in an 86-77 loss to Sonoma State on the final night of the 2013-14 regular season. He tied for the team-high with 17 points and connected on 5-of-10 attempts from distance in a road defeat to San Francisco State. For the weekend he shot 50 percent from the field (15-of-30) and 52 percent from beyond the arc (13-for-25). Grieves tied for third among CCAA players with 63 made 3-pointers and finished fourth among league players knocking down over 41 percent of his 3-point attempts for the season.
