Senior outfielder Brandon Alexander led the Pioneer baseball team to a 3-3 record this past week, including a four-game split at Cal State San Bernardino in the opening weekend of CCAA play. The preseason All-West Region honoree kicked off the week by reaching base four times last Wednesday in a doubleheader split with Menlo College. In the four games at CSUSB, he went 7-for-15, including a 5-for-8 performance in Saturday's doubleheader. Alexander is East Bay's leading hitter through eight games this season.
