Jarred Jourdan was a consistent scoring threat this past weekend as the Pioneer men's basketball team dropped a pair of road games. He averaged 14.0 points in the two games, including a 19-point effort in a narrow 84-80 loss at Humboldt State. Jourdan totaled seven rebounds and two steals, and he knocked down 73.3 percent of his free throws (11-15). The junior from Oakland, Calif. is the team's fifth-leading scorer for the season, but he has really stepped up offensively lately in place of the injured Mark Samuels, averaging 31.7 minutes and 16.0 points per game over the last three contests.
