Dick Foster, considered one of the best pitchers in Cal State Hayward Baseball history, compiled a two-year pitching record of 18-2 in 1968-69. A two-time All-Far Western Conference selection, Foster holds the CSUH record for most wins in a season with 10. Among the all-time Cal State Hayward hurlers, Foster is tied with current Pioneer baseball coach Dirk Morrison for most victories with 18. He is fifth all-time in complete games (16), seventh in earned run average (2.71), and 10^th with 203.2 innings pitched.
