During her illustrious women’s track and field career at Cal State Hayward from 1982-85, she was a triple NCAA II National Champion in the discus (1982, 1984, and 1985). Urban was an Olympic trial participant in 1984 and competed on three CSUH Conference Championship teams, which all placed in the top 10 nationally.
