Kalliam was a standout athlete for the Pioneer women’s softball team, and also excelled in basketball and track and field. She was a member of the 1965 Pioneer Women’s Basketball Championship team. Kalliam went on to have a successful coaching career as the head coach of the San Francisco State women’s softball team.
